In certain portions of the game, the player takes control of Clank in side scroller-esque trips though the Netherverse. Ratchet is aided in his movement by Clank using the Heli Pack to propel himself forward, or to hover safely to the ground. In the game, the player mainly controls Ratchet, using an array of weapons and gadgets familiar to the series, but also some newer ones as well. In doing so, the Twins have brought creatures through the portal called Nethers, controlled by a leader named Mr. The game can be also used in conjunction with Before the Nexus.įollowing the escape of a notorious criminal named Vendra Prog from prison, helped by her twin brother Neftin, Ratchet & Clank discover that the Twins have created their own Dimensionator. Shorter than earlier titles in the series, it is intended as an epilogue to the “Future” sub-series (Tools of Destruction, Quest for Booty and A Crack in Time). Ratchet and Clank: Into the Nexus is a third person action shooter with puzzle elements.
